Design and delivery of RCO unit
As part of our long-term cooperation with ELVAC EKOTECHNIKA, we have designed and delivered the mechanical component of an RCO unit, which will serve to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from its emissions.
RCO units are sophisticated systems for the highly energy-efficient cleaning of low to medium concentrations of VOCs (0.2 – 3 g/m3) from catalytic reactor emissions. The basic elements of this technology are interconnected chambers (reactors) that contain a heat-exchange ceramic filling, a space for heating the contaminated air, and a reactive catalytic layer.
Typical sources of VOC emissions include processes related to the surface treatment of materials and products, the chemical industry and the production of plastics, as well as emissions from solvents, painting, and printing.
