Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) is the most environmentally friendly technology for removing nitrogen oxides from the flue gas of energy installations. Thanks to the catalyst, reactions take place at temperatures of 300 to 400°C. Ammonia is injected into the flue gas, which is then introduced into the catalyst reactor, in which the nitrogen oxides in the flue gas are converted back into nitrogen and water vapor. NOx reduction efficiency ranges from the high 80s to 90%.
For DeNOx projects, we offer implementation of SCR, or its integration into boiler room technology, using the latest technologies (BAT).
